Objective

Work experience

Having work experience gives you an extra advantage over other candidates while you are trying for a job .You should mention the number of years you have worked and the name of your organization .Work experience should be above the education of our have work experience as you have enough work experience to highlight that you don’t need to rely on your education.

Students or candidates who have just passed should not worry much about this section of the Resume. They should make sure that they put the education section towards the top of their resume.

Internships, curricular activities, projects and volunteer work .

This section is basically used by fresher’s as they want to replace the work experience with this by overshadowing it . Internships and other volunteered work proves to be very handy and gives sharpness to your resume and helps you in seeking jobs more easily.

Skills

Skills are of two types i.e soft and hard.

Soft skills are attributes or habits that describe how you work. They are not specific to a job, but indirectly help you adapt to the work environment. Teamwork, responsibility, leadership, creativity, etc.  

Hard skills, on the other hand, refer to specific tools, technical knowledge and training and other work-specific skills. They apply directly to the job. 

You should   focus on skills that make you stand out, and in most cases, those are the combination of hard and soft skills which helps you in getting job and becoming a successful employee.
